StripFromChains

Declaration:function StripFromChains: integer;

The method StripFromChains eliminates all chains which have at least one terminating atom and returns the number of atoms occupied by the remaining atoms. If the structure is acyclic, all atoms are removed; the function then returns a value of zero and the connection table is empty.

Note, that chains which are between two ring systems are not removed.
