MatchStartPos

Declaration: property MatchStartPos: integer;

The readonly property MatchStartPos returns the starting position of a matched regular expression (as defined by the property RegExp), i.e. it contains the position of the first matched character of the parameter Instring of the method MatchString.

Note: MatchStartPos equals RegExpToken[1].ValidFrom ; it has been included in the class TGrep for convenience.
