LatLongToUTM

Declaration: procedure LatLongToUTM (lat, long: double; Ellipsoid: TGeoEllipsoid; var Zone: integer; var Easting, Northing: double);

The procedure LatLongToUTM converts the latitude and longitude, lat and long, into the UTM coordinates Easting and Northing, and the UTM zone Zone.

The latitude and longitude have to specified in degrees, the easting and northing are returned in meters. Please note that the results of the conversion depend on the Ellipsoid used for the Earth model.
