Current Main Field of Research
Hyperspectral Imaging. My main interests in the field of hyperspectral imaging are statistical questions concerning the processing and interpretation of hyperspectral images with a focus on problems arising from the curse of dimensionality. Further, we are currently working on the development of algorithms for combining and analyzing hyperspectral images from different spectroscopic sources ("multisensor imaging").
In parallel, I am providing scientific support to the development of ImageLab, a software tool for multisensor hyperspectral imaging.
